How do I set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on my Altify account?

💡 Two-Factor Authentication adds a critical layer of security by requiring a second code from one of your devices when you log in or make a withdrawal.

You can set up 2FA in the Security section of your Profile. We offer two methods:

Authenticator App (Recommended) 

This method uses an app like Google Authenticator or Authy to generate a secure, time-based code.

  1. When logged into your Altify account head over to the Profile section and select the Security menu, then select Enable 2FA.
  2. The app will show a QR code and a setup key.
  3. Open your authenticator app and add a new account by scanning the QR code or entering the key.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app into the Altify app to confirm.

SMS Authentication

This method sends a one-time passcode (OTP) to your registered mobile number.

  1. In the Security menu, select Enable OTP.
  2. Enter your mobile number and confirm the code we send you via SMS.
