How do I reset my Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a vital layer of protection to your Altify account and investments. If you need to update your security settings, you can reset or disable your 2FA directly, or request a manual reset from our team.

Depending on whether you still have access to your authentication device, follow the relevant steps below.

Resetting 2FA With Access to Your Device

If you still have access to your authentication app and device, you can disable or reset your 2FA directly through your account settings.

On The Altify App or Web Platform

  1. Log in to your account and click Settings, followed by Security.

  2. Once on the Account Security view, click Disable 2FA.

  3. You'll then be prompted to enter your account password.

  4. Enter your 2FA code from your authenticator app and follow the prompts.

Manual 2FA Reset via Support
If you no longer have access to your 2FA app or device, our support team can manually reset it for you. To do this, you'll need to submit a request through our platform, which will notify our team to begin the verification process.

How to Request a Manual Reset

  1. Navigate to the Settings screen and click Security.

  2. Once on the Account Security view, click Disable 2FA.

  3. When prompted for your account password, you can skip this step and click Need Help? at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Click Reset my 2FA.

  5. Fill out the provided form with the necessary details and click Submit.

ℹ️ Once your request is submitted, our team will carry out internal verification steps to confirm you are the account holder before completing the manual reset.

⚠️ To protect your digital assets, Altify will never ask you for your 2FA codes or password. We only perform manual resets after thorough identity verification has been completed.
