At Altify, we take your account’s security seriously and follow strict laws to prevent money laundering and other illegal activities.
To meet our regulatory requirements, we may sometimes ask for evidence to verify your residential address: known as a Proof of Address (PoA).
A recent PoA document should be an original PDF document and clearly show the following:
Your full name and surname (matching your identity document and the name registered with Altify).
Your residential address (also called your home address).
The date of issue (not older than 3 months for most documents).
Valid documents include, but are not limited to, the following:

| Document issued by a Government agency | Tax return or a document from a government agency confirming an individual’s address. | Less than 3 months. |
| TV or Retail Account Statements | Subscription services and certain store accounts that include the physical address. | Less than 3 months. |

To help us complete the review process as quickly as possible, please pay careful attention to these administrative requirements as they relate to any document you provide to us. If we’re not able to accept your document, you’ll need to resubmit, which will delay this process.
Document Requirements
Supporting documents should be provided in full form to ensure the account truly belongs to you.
For documents in languages that use non-Latin characters (such as Russian, Chinese, Thai, Hebrew, etc.), a notarised translation of your proof of address document will greatly speed up processing time.
Documents should not be tampered with (for example, do not black out information).
We cannot accept expired lease agreements.
We cannot accept incomplete or unsigned affidavits.
We cannot accept postal addresses (e.g., PO Box addresses).
We cannot accept business addresses.
Screenshots of any proof of address will not be accepted due to the increased risk of identity fraud.
