My device is lost or stolen - how to secure your altify account

If your device is lost or stolen, you should take immediate steps to protect your Altify account. While we use leading security tools and features to keep your investments safe, acting quickly ensures your account remains secure.

 

Regardless of whether you can still sign in, please follow the steps below to secure your account.

 

Step Action  Description
1 Notify our team Reach out via our in-app or web messenger, or email support@altify.app immediately. We'll block your account to prevent unauthorised access while we guide you through the recovery process. 
2 Reset your password Navigate to the Login screen on our web platform and click Forgot your password? Reset it here to start the reset. 
3 Reset your 2FA If 2FA is enabled: We'll perform a manual reset for you and will require proof that the request is coming from you; however, we'll guide you on exactly what we need to complete this.

If 2FA is not enabled: We strongly encourage you to enable it once your account is unblocked.
 

ℹ️ We may still require a security photo to verify that you're the account owner. 

4 Confirm security Once these actions are complete, we'll verify your security and unblock your account.

To help us resolve this as quickly as possible, please include as much detail as you can in your request. 

 

ℹ️ Do not attempt to create a new account. Creating a second account creates a duplicate, unverified profile that can delay you from regaining access to your original verified account.
