For basic verification, we’ll require you to share a valid Government-Issued ID.
This must be an original, full-colour photo of one of the following:
- Passport (a photo of the personal details page).
- National identity card (a photo of the front and back of the card).
- National ID booklet (a photo of the personal details page).
- Residence certificate (a photo of the full A4 personal details page).
ℹ️ For clients outside of South Africa, a driver's license is also accepted (a photo of the front and back of the card).
Your ID must clearly show your full name, photo, and date of birth, and it must not be expired.
For many clients, we will also require a Proof of Address (PoA) Document.
This must be an official document, in PDF format, dated within the last three months, that clearly shows your full name and surname, and current residential address. We do not accept P.O. Box addresses.
Common examples include:
- A utility bill (water, electricity, internet)
- A bank or credit card statement
- A tax document or a letter from a government agency
